Prof.Yogendra P.Singh is a renowned Senior Oncologist with an extensive experience in surgical services, education and research in nepal. He is an accomplished international scientist who has authored over 130 scientific papers in national and international journals. He is the founder President of the Nepal Cancer Education Foundation and the Asian Oncology Society Nepal. He is best known for pioneering oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery in Nepal. As a respected academician, clinician and a researcher in nepal, Prof.Singh has been honoured with numerous national and international awards for his significant contributions to cancer education, social service and research. He is TUTH founding president of Nepal Cancer Education Foundation.

He has served atTribhuvan University Institute of Medicine (IOM) in Kathmandu, Nepal spanning over 30 years. He has served as the former Research Director and Head of surgery department in the same institute. He has a medical graduate (MBBS) from the same institue in 1988 and went on to pursue an MD(General Surgery) and PhD in Experimental Therapeutics (Tumor Angiogenesis) from Kansal Medical University, Osaka, Japan, in 1995 and 1998 resp.
